    Hi Gerryb, The new socket has four connections in total as Bernardgreen said. Just put the two Lives into L, the two Neutrals into N and the two Earths into whichever E connection is easiest. You don't need to separate the Earths. Regards, Huggybear.

    That's exactly what I've done in the past before. You can then paint the lip to blend in with the rest of the wall if you want. If you cut the lip off, the back box could fall behind the plasterboard when you install it or replace the accessory in the future. Regards, Huggybear.
