a new boiler would make sense for a lot of reasons. personally would avoid ideal. other manufacturers offer 5 and 7 yr warranties. link.com (i think ) offer worcesters with a 10 yr warranty and accredited installers of other boilers can offer 5 or 7 yrs. to be fair i haven t fitted a logic...

op go for worcester or vaillant imo. any boiler that you haven t heard of is not good. i fit hundreds of worcesters a year...their after sale service is accepted in the industry as the best. you know what your getting-quality trouble is with atmos/intergas is that they are popular on here...

worcester...i fit 100's a yr...the perfect boiler imo. less than 3 % breakdowns over the warranty period of 5/7 yrs

no its the black nipple far right of your picture

check the filter which is on the cold water feed into the diverter valve. it may be full of carp. also on the div valve is a small nut for reducing flow, make sure it is fully open

probably the pcb....why did you replace the fan? is it at your house or are you a plumber ?

the thermostats do not fail on these. it will be sludge in the system ie inside your radiators.

check the condensate isn t blocked at the drain check your gas is on ( have you a hob?) failing that you should get worcester or an enginner out as it could be many things........faulty gas valve/pcb/more likely a blcked main heat exchanger

The signal is being received correctly by the WR1 because the "RECEIVE" light flashes, and then the "ON" light comes on; this is definitely a problem with the boiler, rather than the thermostat. :oops:
