    As many may do - I use Sulphate of Iron to help control moss in the lawn etc. But I've read by using the sulphate, Lime should be used to maintain the Ph above 5 as the sulphate makes the soil acidy. If this is so, how much lime should be used per SQ/M.

    OK, The outlet at the top of the tank sweeps to a Tee piece. One end to the shower and the other to the HW tap system. It is a known thing in the household, not to run any HW taps in the house otherwise One will have a cold shower.

    The decking has always this time of year become slippery, as it tends to be shaded by the house most of the day. Has anyone attempted to use dry sand sprinkled onto glue applied by a roller applying the glue to the surface of the grooved decking board with success. thanks

    Some 6 years ago our kitchen floor was covered with Vinyl strips with a Polyurethane finish, glued to a Acrylic sealed surface. Now some of the shine has gone. How best to treat it to restore some of the shine. Seen some homemade solutions using Olive oil mixed with Vinegar and water.

    I would think you would have to dig out the old post and its concrete and as the spurs are normally 1.2mts long. Think you would need a min of 600/700mm into the ground and trim the existing 4" posts to be clear of ground contact.

    Got some 5ltr tins of Screwfix 'Pine' decking oil which I got sometime ago in a good deal. I use it around the garden not only on the decking and found it good. What can I add to change its colour for a darker shade as none of the stock shades are dark enough for what I'm trying achieve.

    Using Zinc coated coach bolts on fencing posts etc. What is the best grease or rust prevention to help prevent corrosion on the bolt and nut threads other than using Copper Grease. Read that a Moly Grease could be good as it has molybdenum disulphide. ??

    To finish this off. Electricians connected with work, always told me that Fuses and MCB's only protect the cables connecting appliance not the Appliance or Switches. Sometimes I think its a wasted effort coming here asking for advice when you get certain icks too high in giving their answers...

    Plaster board/stud and brick outer. Could a 45amp double pole switch be mounted above the hardtop/wall and the ring-main connected as if a socket. From the 45amp switch to the double socket with approx one metre of 4mm T&E to connect the two.
