    Not sure but I know the fire back boiler has had 2 valve switched off as it was taking the heat rather than pushing heat to rads. I don't intent to lite fire just deciding if I should remove the back boiler

    Lower pipe can be lukewarm just but only lukewarm. 15mm has been stop ended just below.

    Is this the valve you are talking about That's the lower of the 2 pipes.

    This is the pipe going into the water cylinder which is piping hot when heating is on This is the lower pipe coming out of the water cylinder

    There is an awful lot of corrosion around the 2 pipes in/out of the water cylinder

    Hi When I switch my heating on for 45 mins for hot water only the pipe going into water cylinder is piping hot but water in cylinder is only bearly warming up. Any ideas? Thanks

    I am putting plinth heater (central heating connection) as well as a vertical designer rad so I think the plinth from them posts this will be the main heat source. Sure when I come in on a cold night I can stand up against the designer one :LOL::LOL:
