Hi my prv seems to be leaking at about 2.7 bar so i am looking at replacing it.is it something a novice can do? i think i just need to drain the boiler usung the prv then unscrew and replace or is there more to it than that ....

no unfortunately i cant there is some under the bedroom floor. i am guessing thats where you think i should be looking? also i am concerned with the fact i only had new rads fitted 8 weeks ago and pressure was fine before that the problem has only become noticeable in last 3-4 weeks

yeah it is rising it goes up aprox 1 bar when heating is on.

my biasi 24s is losing pressure and somebody has suggested repressurizing the expansion vessel can anybody point me in the right direction on how to do this or should i get a corgi guy in? cheers

also i have spoken to the guy that fit my rads and he says to try re-pressurising the expansion vessel or replacing it. is this something a novice like myself could do? if so where do i start.... how would i know if this was the prob before i start?

sorry what is the AAV? yeah he did use copper pipes and soldered joints and i did think it was a bit too much of a coincidence with the new rads i think i prob going to have to get somebody out then but they will prob charge me a fortune to diagnose it
