if you defo know it"s the fan /aps then very easy to swap just like for like,

morning just wondering what the resistance reading should be on the safety thermostat boiler fires up but seems to cut out frequently baxi 80eco boiler remove temp sensor and the boiler stays on put temp sensor back in boiler shuts down...........resistance on temp sensor is 10k when cold

does this mean an engineer is going to fix it i bet it"s only a small problem some sw or sensor???????

the pin is making contact with the microswitch and fires up but doesn"t stay lit i actually looked at that i also manual held in the microswitch but stills stop starts i understand you are a engineer sadly i"m a electrical designer so any questions on electrics glady ask away

soooooooooooo if i find the switch that switches the pump am i on the right track looking at manualas we speak

unscrewd the screw visually seen spindles running surely the boiler would not light at all i f the pump was knackered or am i wrong at the minute looking at yellow pages for my next engineer

tanks yep pump is running, aps switching,fan runs,boiler fires up.......runs......then stops.........then runs..........then stops........i can hear the pump running plus its warm

no attitude i pay anyone who will do the job correctly but obviously the chap i got round who was gas safe was a chancer so next time someone comes it would be nice to maybe have a conversation with him........

just a little heads up would be nice suppose i might as well get ripped of twice in a week

baxi 80eco.........it does light but not for long hear the fan running but just shuts down.........

sequence is 1.. stat calls for heat 2.. boiler fire up 3 boiler stays lit for 10/20 secs 4..boiler goes out 5 over and over again 6 shower runs hot 7 shower runs cold...

sorry half way through having my tea........... my boiler is firing up but not staying on constant room stat is set to 25c but boiler keepsstopping and starting.........run shower it goes hot then cold,hot,cold............new pcb fan running aps switching pump running............no problem in...

hi i"ve been having a problem where my boiler fires up then fails will not stay on long even when it hasn"t reached room temp it cuts out shower blows hot n cold checked fan aps new pcb could it be blocked somewhere
