Just wondering how long it takes to prepare a quote for some decorating jobs I need doing. Im thinking they might not want to do it :( its been 3 days. I know its probably 'how long's a piece of string' but as a rough guide how many days does it generally take. Thanks.

Hi Have got a broken drain cover on my property, its the main drain access for neighbours drains too. Its a rectangle shape its holding together but its in 2 pieces. Been told that you cant buy just the cover anymore and will have to dig out the frame to renew the whole thing at roughly £350...

Can someone help? Ive done a search on this and come up with some good info but its a bit old and was wondering if there are any new regs preventing me from unplugging the old gas oven(bayonet type). Replacement oven is electric. I'll be more than happy to comply, dont want to hurt ourselves...
