Are you saying that inside the lead sheath is a rubber insulator (not cloth as I previously thought)? Would a bare copper MICC be ok in a salt water environment? Obviously the ends would need terminating properly!

Your picture shows the mcb in your garage consumer unit are both off. Reset the lighting one by pushing down then back up. Push the socket one up.

i have a new megger 1721 (always had fluke before). Today I did a 3 wire low current loop test and got 0.30. Then tried 2 wire low test and got a reading of about 2.30. Why’s it so different.? Thank you!
