Hi all. In our en suite the shower tray will fill up sometimes to the top to the point of overflowing before then emptying out properly with a big gurgle coming from the sink. After the trap, the shower waste appears to go down under the chipboard floor where I assume it links up with the sink...

You need to undo the joints and wrap a few rounds of ptfe tape round the olive and then retighten.
