It's not an assumption, it's a possible suggestion. The fact that he was so young in Afghanistan makes no difference if he was fluent in English. It does suggest the was only 17 or 18 when he arrived in UK. So yes, he might have been a child when he arrived.

This particular Afghan may have been giving assistance to the British army in Afghanistan. Afghanistan was stable and productive before it was invaded by several countries . It's been in an almost constant state of war for most of its recent history.

He was not an asylum seeker yesterday or today. he was granted asylum 3 years ago. That means he was no longer seeking it. :rolleyes: He didn't arrive by boat, but you posted it in a thread about small boat arrivals. There can be only one explanation for why you posted it, to foment hatred...

As I said, despite your claim, the attacker is not an asylum seeker. The convicted rapist in Scotland is an asylum seeker and will be deported after serving his sentence. I think it is you that is confused.
