He'd been granted asylum, why would he have granted asylum if he wasn't seeking it. He was an asylum seeker.

As I said, despite your claim, the attacker is not an asylum seeker.
The convicted rapist in Scotland is an asylum seeker and will be deported after serving his sentence.

That means he was no longer seeking it.
He didn't arrive by boat, but you posted it in a thread about small boat arrivals.
There can be only one explanation for why you posted it, to foment hatred against foreigners and especially asylum seekers, or former asylum seekers.

The article was about a former asylum seeker, had settled in UK, who did not arrive by boat, and has allegedly committed a crime.
So you post it in a thread where you knew it would have maximum impact in achieving what you wanted to achieve, i.e. to foment hatred.

I'm not discussing the alleged crime. I'm highlighting your motive for posting an alleged crime by a foreigner.

if they attacker had been caucasian, you wouldn't have presented the article because it wouldn't have had effect that you desire.
if you'd want to discuss the crime, why pick on that incident, why post it in the small boat arrivals, and why choose a non-asylum seeker who arrived by lorry, not boat?
