What do you mean by asking for trouble with LEDs? What could be used instead?

Dimmer is humming at all levels of dim, increases a little when the dim is higher, might return this one and try another one.

So is it normal for a dimmer to buzz a little?

Sorry I was being a bit ambiguous. I hadn't pinpointed the issue.

Had a look at that but unfortunately my shower only has a cold water supply.

Its the dimmer itself that is making the buzzing sound.

There is still buzzing with the new dimmer switch. Think I'll get a different type of led bulb, see if they are part of the problem.

I was looking at shower cabin/cubicles, but most of them require a hot and cold feed. Does anyone know if there are any electric ones that require only a cold feed?

Reading installation instructions for some of these boards online, they say that a 2-3mm gap should be left between the panels and the shower tray, then that gap is to be filled with silicone, is that how you did it?

How did you seal the gap between the tray and shower board?

I bought some blackout roller blinds of ebay, but they were a load of cheap crap so returned them. Poorly cut to size and the roller mechanisms were of low quality. Blinds were full of unsightly wrinkles. Anyone know where to find good ones?

The problem has been fixed. It turned out one of the flats on the ground floor had a defective valve in the toilet cistern, which was causing it to discharge and refill all time, creating the pulsing effect in the water main.
