    Shed base

I’d love to lay a concrete base however the shed is 15 square metres which is fine but to access the rear garden as we are a terraced we have to go through seceral Gardens to get to ours which means me with a barrow and doing all the mixing just wouldn’t work Lol

Hi I’ve got a project where I need to render it , I’ve currently covered it in tile backer board as it gives a really nice flat finish and I got it for free lol Anyway if I’m using a one Pocatello render can I skim this the same thickness as multi finish or would I still need the 10mm...

    Porch

Hi Stevie, thanks for your reply, it was actually a very large bay window (3x1 ) which got rejected because no one else on the street has a roof( canopy) above their bay window line we have which seems crazy to deny it for that however rules are rules! It was just obviously going in front of...

    Porch

Hi, Strange question but to cut a long story short I got my planning appeal rejected for a front extension. I know pd allows you to build a porch 3x1 but is there anything in the rules that stops you building two seperate porches 3x1? Thanks

Hi, I’ve got my little girls bedroom to re skim, I’ve already over boarded it and usually use a orange mesh tape which I’ve found great as it sticks well however our local Place only had white mesh joint tape in but it just won’t stick would there be any issues to use a bit of diluted pva to...

    New extension

Woody what I mean re plans is that the council expects a certain scale of plans etc before they will put them on the planning portal, the people who draw plans for a living wanted quite a lot which I’m happy I don’t have to pay lol

    Replacing oven/hob

Bel Ch602T re hob. Ideally using the same circuit for ease if it’s got to be hard wired, not sure why I thought it was a 13A I’ve not really looked at it as I’ve been installing some of the cabinets but I’m upto the oven housing now so sorting the wiring before the carcass is the right time...

    Replacing oven/hob

    Replacing oven/hob

Hi, Would it be ok to use a 30A breaker on this? The cable looks to be 6mm? I was going to connect it to the current cabling which is 10mm to 30A breaker or should I reduce it to a 25A? I’m fairly confident that L1&L2 go together on a single phase but I don’t have so much pride that I don’t ask...
