    Level out brick course

Thanks I think that might be my best option and no one will see it anyway. Already used this technique to workaround a high point at the front earlier.

    Level out brick course

Cheers guys but it's not like the corners are level right now it's like a spiral I'm trying to give a bit of headroom by stepping down in to the workshop so I'm removing the earth in the centre so will be able to see the deviation better when it's not in a hole.

Yeah I can't face doing that mentally.. I'm gonna remove the centre soil down to first layer and will get a better view of it..

    How to POUR concrete footings

@SpecialK - yeah someone in the thread not to and do it in one pour - I'm guessing that it's the best if you can. I'll know after transfering how long it will take and then will do it in sections if its going to take too long.

    How to POUR concrete footings

@lostinthelight - I think you're right - its 19.8 X 0.45 X 0.225 =1.96 Think I read that 15 cm depth is the absolute min but I was initially thinking 30 till I realised how much that is...I'll have to work out how much more I need but don't think I'll need a another big bag just a top up...

    How to POUR concrete footings

I'm guess I'll do it in one then - I mean I only have to have 15cm deep really and I recokon I can mix 20 easily in the cut off point so if it starts hardening before I get to 225 mm - well its only a gloriified shed!

    How to POUR concrete footings

Its about 1.8M3, I'm expecting my 120litre mixer can only really mix half its capacity at a time (I'm guessing I've never done this before) so dividing by .06 says 30 loads. If it takes 5 mins a load shovelling in 7 shovels worth mixing and adding water, then decant in to wheelbarrow and then...

    How to POUR concrete footings

I'm coming back to this as Ive tried to find local wheel barrow readymix but can't get anyone to do it (70 m trip from road) so I'm going to attempt to do this with my 120litre mixer. I am thinking about doing it in sections on lenth at a time (just going to wack some hard board in to block off...
