    No mate, if the water is getting through that felt (and looking like it must be) I'll do more Acrypol-Flashband and Acrypol.

    Have put Acrypol over cracks then the Adhesive Tape then final layer of Acrypol on top. Just need to let it dry and then take that roll of felt off and scatter the stones.

    Do you think I could fill those gaps with wood chippings or something else then do acrypol, mesh,acrypol?

    Few more years, that'll do. Do you think I could use the acrypol as a crack/gap filler as well as a sealant or would i need to cement the cracks as gap filler before using the first layer of acrypol?

    I've heard that these wet-patch porch-roofs accumulate water unbeknownst to the owner and they sometimes just cave in inside the house with the weight of the water. What would you say is the best way to check if there's loads of water accumulated on top of the porch ceiling from inside?

    Thanks, that adhesive flashband can you see it sticking on that surface? If I do first layer acrypol will it gel before it seeps through ceiling? Will it even seep through the ceiling? If not then sorted, can just smooth it out with Acrypol then put flashband on but like I say these adhesive...

    ..but you're meant to do Acrypol then Scrim as middle layer then final second Acrypol as third layer. I don't want the first layer of Acrypol to seep through the ceiling like the water has, photo as attached How about this first...

    The thing is , as you can see there are definite deep gaps in the felt and structure, shouldn't I fill those gaps (where you can even see down to the woodwork) with material like stones before I cover over with scrim and Acrypol?

    Ok, so how about a covering over the felt (after it's been sealed) , thin copper sheets bent to make the rain spill off, something like that?

    Thanks, is it easy to put a new handle on after youve used brute force and then unscrewed the dodgy one?

    so it's here to hide a screw, i get it thanks. So wreck the handle and unscrew it and then just screw in a replacement handle?
