Check “loft boards “ think they are narrow to get through loft openings ,try B and Q

You can buy just the head, it’s normally a stiff spindle it operates that burns them out.

Is the underfloor pump running ,is the underfloor zone valve opening

Reseal, check it’s not leaking from above and running down

It may be partially open JohnD but not enough for a decent flow

You could try bringing the receiver out ,to see if it’s a control problem..Power off first !

The thermostat valve body pin maybe free but the valve can stick,can you remove to check?

Have you checked the pin under the thermostat head is free ?

Would think to get enough width a joist would need altering ,bit bigger job than estimate. Can you rig something over the banister?

Add some ventilation to the wardrobe as well if possible

Power off remove 3 and4 and make safe ,link 3/4 on terminal s ,power on and see if heating works

Chase wall out just above the elbows and use a straight coupling,alter pipes to suit

Screwfix do a new room stat/ receiver as a straight swap £109 , in my experience it’s normally the receiver that fails ,very easy to fit yourself , just turn power off before starting.
