    magnet kitchen fitter

    I bought a magnet kitchen. Did not use their fitting service. Got the prep work done. Now need a dry fit. Went back to magnet but they said they dont do dry fit only. Really need a fitter with magnet experience. What is the best way to find one ? Any advice please. Flat in north london. Thanks.

    Split step sorted already in way u described. Would laying flat pieces of wood of top of each step , screwing them in then laying carpet on top make steps feel more solid?

    I have old wooden stairs. Edge of on step is split. I will carpet them . Can i do anything to the steps to make them feel a bit more solid before carpeting ? Only max 12 steps in staircase in a maisonette. Tnx

    electric induction hob to replace gas hob

    I have a gas hob. It will be changed to an electric induction hob. Do i need a gas man to 'cap' gas pipes before changing to electricHeating will remain gas. Thanks.

    Having kitchen redone from basics. Current gas meter is big. Was thinking to take advantage of getting it removed and changed. To accomdate current meter i have to cut half of new cabinet.pity lead time to fit meter is 2 to 3 months. New kitchen maybe in by then.

    Looking to replace it with a hotpoint ceramic hob crm641dc with spec 30amp fuse rating. Would i be correct to assume current plug set up is sufficient?
