    Ree. Roof is in good overall condition. Tried best to inform council that tiles are dangerously positioned hence friday or else 1 week. Flat is private but ex local authority and service charge/ building ins is with them. Got kids living in flat below too and have to walk below too.

    Tiles r small. 60s local authority property. Roof is original. Two storey high. Cannot see if there is felt or not. I hope so. Moved tile is close to gutter level. ( bad news)

    Tnx terry. Is the roof constructed in such a way that there is a waterproof layer below tiles then some internal layer facing lining the attic? Basically i am hoping water will not fall 90 degrees through missing tile area and onto bedroom ceiling below.

    On slanting roof three tiles from gutter . I need a quick fix to prevent rain water coming in . It is directly over bedroom ceiling. I can access from inside of attic/roof . Rain is due before roof repairer. Tnx very much 4 any advice.

    He fell in love with owner of flat after 3 weeks. Did not want to finish job so he cud spend more time at her place. Bust up happened. job to change fuse box, rewiring,connect wall sockets, light switches, earthing and to connect lights in ceiling 80%finished. What now?

    Please advise. Wooden skirting and door frames have have undercoat applied. Would p120 sanding paper be most appropriate to smooth prior to painting? Thanks.

    Just bought three wooden internal kitchen/lounge doors primed for painting. What is the best way to prepare it? The final paint will be satin paint not gloss. Which type of undercoat would be most suitable and which grade sanding paper would be best, p120? Thanks.

    How safe is it to trim a door 1981cm height to 1979cm. I saw a door but it is recommended to trim by 6mm only. A baton was mentioned and to trim more than 6mm would weaken the door. I cannot believe all doorways are 1981h and that i have to have one 1979cm. Please can i have some help. Tnx.
