    Wallrock dampstock

Anyone used this? Gonna try it on a seriously damp wall. What's the best way to prep the walls before applying the paste? Soapy water? Sugar soap then let it dry? Regarding applying the paste onto the walls, how long should I leave it on there before putting on wallrock lining paper? Is...

Tripping out consumer unit when plug oven in

Sorry about delay getting back. Yes worked OK before. Other things work ok in the same socket and don't trip. Wonder if it's the kettle underneath putting steam into the underside of machine. So, best to just buy similar sized device to fit brackets?

Fixing to this high plasterboard wall

The walls hollow so I guess plasterboard. Can't find studs with magnets or stud finder but kitchen units are going up on it. What fixings? Gonna be heavy. Do the hooks go onto these plates in picture? For loft can I cram down the insulation and cut osb to GP on top? What's all coveredTACH]

Buying the freehold on my block of flats

So it looks like there wasn't another buyer and we can now purchase it no matter how many participants we have. Think ten people have paid their £100. We've got until 6th Dec to see how many are interested. Some of the longer leaseholders aren't interested some are.

So when I plugged in this big microwave/cooker combi thing it didn't work so changed the fuse in its plug and it tripped out in consumer unit. Has the device had it?
