It's 2k Clear Coat, which is supposed to add superior gloss and scratch protection. You have to activate the spray can by fiddling with the base of the can - I guess it releases a hardener inside - then you shake for a couple of mins and then get spraying.

The more you can add the better supported the ceiling would be. I imagine a couple of rows of battens - so at 1.5m and 3m on the 4.5m length - will be enough providing they are securely fixed, and the ones around the perimeter are fixed securely too.

With those spans 3x2 isn't going to cut it without some central supports. A concrete ceiling shouldn't be too hard to drill with a suitable SDS drill and masonry drill bit. Look up concrete screws -fixing a couple of timbers at suitable spacing to the concrete and then dropping supports to...

You guys should consider fostering dogs if you’re not sure about a full time commitment at the moment. Quite often the people that foster end up keeping the animal anyway, but it is a valuable resource for the animal shelters to have people that can take an animal for a few weeks or months.
