I always use plastic conduit (Not capping). It is possible to replace a cable in the future, if you are very careful and have access to the other end of the conduit. Fix it as required with plumbers banding.

I shall give it plenty of stirring! I read reviews saying the coverage isn't great, but my ceiling already has white trade matt, so hopefully 2 coats of PermaWhite and it will be bulletproof, as they say. Maybe the reviews I saw were from people who didn't stir it properly.

I was inclined to agree. Returned it and got a tin of matt. Everything I read says it's going to be the best paint I ever bought, so I hope its right!

A bit more cost, but a single room MHrV could be used, just needing a second hole to outside. Then a tight fitting door would work

I suspect you did. They won't care how you want to spread it, charges are always volumetric, probably with a minimum charge (3 cubic metres seems common)

We had a room much like that, Gritted it and skimmed, 12 years on there's been no issues. Just need to make sure it is all very well stuck, and remove any areas that arent. Ours seemed to have been applied direct to new plasterboard, so was basically part of the board
