I dont have much space above the new ceiling in the shower cubicle, so I'm seeking a very shallow zone 1 recessed light. Can anyone point me at some recommended examples? Thanks
Should I foam the boards to the ceiling, or dot n dab? or is mechanical the only way? I'm not sure I want to be doing a lot of drilling into the 70 year old flat roof.
Thanks guys. As I'm turning the room into a shower room while I'm at it, I'll see if I can insulate inside walls and ceiling, then. We've been getting condensation on the tiled inner walls already, so I'm guessing the walls are pretty cold, too.
I have a concrete flat roof over the downstairs loo. Its been letting in water and there are several cracks in the concrete which I can see having removed the cladding from the loo ceiling. Water's obviously getting under the felt outside, the source of which I am still searching for. However...
I wish to add another rad in the lounge. I have located the two pipes running to the existing radiator but I can't get to the 22mm pipes from which those are teed (the connections lie somewhere I don't wish to try to get to if I don't really have to!)
The two pipes to the existing rad are 15mm...
Thanks, but that'd mean changing the connections on the trolley itself, which is harder due to the connector being mounted within the structure of the trolley.
On my second-hand golf trolley the battery has this connector
I bought a new charger as the old one was missing, but it has the same female connectors. What are these called and where can I get a Male-to-male converter? Thanks
Now using the Gear S3 Frontier from Samsung - it seems a better product, and the Tizen OS is a little better, so I think I may stick with this for a while.
Well, I tried it for a week and I have to say Wear OS is awful.....that, and the tiny screen on a watch make it unusable for me (I guess its why they market these watches at 25-30 year olds: they have the eyesight to use them!)
Several times a day the OS would go wrong (eg apps not installing...
Its beginning to look like the HUAWEI Watch 2 Sport at the moment...as far as I can see it runs WearOS, has OK performance and is waterproof enough for my needs.......
I need to see one in real life, though, as I have slim wrists and it may be too massive!
Not many, to be honest: just support for the watch by the apps I use (as described above). Every time I find one that ticks most boxes I read reviews by people who say the battery is rubbish, or the phone is really slow, or some other issue that puts me off!
cheers. I need a watch that is WearOS, as the main app I use (ViewRamger) doesn't support Tizen. There doesn't seem to be "One Watch to Rule Them All" that uses WearOS...reports of poor battery and lag seem common.
Thanks guys....I told the customer I wasn't going to get too close to it, and would come back if they get the DNO to cover it. I did the other 3 sides. They were OK with it.
Thanks for the help.
I need to paint a chimney stack Attached to it is the supply to the house, 3 wires on a bracket coming from the pole on the road.
Are those cables likely to be bare copper and hence a shock hazard or am I safe to get up there and paint?
Sorry the image is a bit dark.
Just looking into renovating the shower using 10mm panels instead of tiles. Is a base trim necessary or can the panels just be sealed along the bottom edge with sealant as with tiling?
Any thoughts on Bristan? eg https://www.heatandplumb.com/acatalog/bristan-prism-exposed-sequential-shower-valver-with-adjustable-riser-kit-chrome-bnpm2sqshxarc

These look very expensive, but are the worth it...
