So am I right to assume, the collet cover can be pried off with a flat head, then unclip the collet clip, then push the outer ring inwards and pull the pipe out?

Not this specific one, but elsewhere in the house there was a similar one that leaked last year, plumber fixed that issue. You're probably going to advise me to leave it alone. Whilst I have the ceiling cut, I thought I would upgrade the fittings to new one, for the sake of it.

So I'm going to renew it with a JG speedfit elbow, but I don't want to mess about with it and get stuck trying to take it off and cause damage and not be able to turn the water back on!

Hi guys, quick question before I attempt to renew this yellow elbow whist I have access following the replacement of a different style elbow further along which just needed unscrewing and pulling off. Is this simple to take off? I'm thinking a small flat head in that slot to pull away the white...
