Our Bosch machine leaks water intermittently - no particular pattern to it and I can't see where it's coming from. We've also noticed that on the rare occasions we get a power outage it will leak quite drastically. I suspect that the two conditions aren't entirely unconnected - any ideas...

Actually it's the under 35s that are a bunch of whining malingerers who will seek treatment and reassurance for the most trivial of conditions. You'll find anyone over 45 or so has this quality called stoicism - we put up with minor aches and pains and soldier on. :p

He's still a human compteting against other humans at an equivalent level. It's been proved by experts that there's no advantage conferred by the use of the blades. Steroid usage is a completely different thing and cannot be compared in the same way.

All or part - the same principle applies. Publish a paper, get it peer reviewed and if it's successful it'll be included in the major journals and you'll get the credit for it.

The point is that the blades give him a chance of competing at international level with no net physical or mechanical advantage other than that of actually being able to compete. So what's wrong with that?

You've spotted the only performance advantage given by the blades - they allow him to run as effectively as someone with legs. If he had lower legs he'd still run a lot faster than you. He's a highly trained and superfit athlete. Unless there's something you're not telling us Usain... :P
