    Just seems a bit odd to me. So is this just up to dpc? Seems pretty high for that. If they're using those engineering bricks for the whole thing then that's ridiculous. If it's being rendered on the outside you should be using blocks, then can use celcons on the inside.

    Knots showing through existing paint

    On a refurb at the moment, knots haven't been treated and are showing through gloss work on all doors. What's the best way of sorting?     What to do with sloped ceiling in bathroom?

    Has anyone got any opinions what would be best for the sloped ceiling area in this picture? There will be a shower going on the left hand side with a p-shaped bath. Tiles on the verticals and sill etc, but unsure of what to use for the slope? Possibly tiles? Or shower panel?

    Toilet tiling

    Remove all of the wall paper and any loose plaster, then either render the patches or undercoat plaster then skim. Make sure whatever you use is fully dry before you tile. Is the floor under the laminate just floorboards at the moment?
