Ignore the gash wiring it’s a new build need I say anymore.

This is the rose on the garage roof. Obviously earth needs togo into that earth point but which side does live and neutral need to go. The old light bulb connect isn’t colour coded like I thought it would be.

Fair enough I did research and couldn’t see any difference apart from ones more bend but thought I’d ask. Thanks again guys.

Sounds like a plan then I could daisy chain off that light to the other. Jobs done. In terms of wire to use 3 core what kinda size?

It did cross my mind just using the old rose and running the wire out the back. I guess I’d just connect it where the wire for the bulb would be but instead run a wire to the led batten.
