Sorry mate, missed that. I think running chkdsk recovered enough to get safe mode working again.

I didnt get the advanced options on the recovery :cry: I will try to get the error code but I'm pretty sure hardware is ok as I can keep it running in safe mode. Will update later !

At one point I got it to boot into safe mode last night. Ran the DIR command in win\system32 directory and it stopped saying something about corruption. Got it to run a chkdsk but this has not cured it as it still crashes

So can anyone explain the humming & rattling ? Surely its the gas valves job to entrain the correct amount of gas, so regardless of the inlet pressure it should regulate the amount getting to the burner ? Does that make sense ?

If its filling ok ( Assuming this from your last post) then close valves and take off one of these none filling radiators and see if anything flows from the valves when you turn the valves back on. It may be that the rad is sludged up or more likely that you have an air lock somewhere...
