Because he previously said the bottom step has dried out all the one colour with no streaking but it is a lot darker, how can i get this colour to match the other spice coloured bits around the house that have been painted. It may also, be more than 1 problem.

    Dulux matt blistering

You're steam stripping your paint off the wall. None of it looks any good. If you continue with the wasing on the rad (steam stripping) you will also strip the lining.

    Have a look

I have never ever had a problem with British standard paints...especially masonry paints. Can't see the point in picking odd colours rather than the tried and tested. That's why, I steer clear of non B. S colours.

    First day on site

When I was 16, We were doing this huge empty building for the council and I did miles of skirtings by striking a line 9" up the wall then painting up to the line with blue gloss. I spent ages on my knees but I learned fast how to cut in. I had to.

To pay or not to pay

Some painters do anything. It's not up to the painter what to do, it's up to the customer on what they want to pay for and in this instance he's got what he should pay for. Len still had to have the job done but he's not lost anything. Appeal dismissed.

To pay or not to pay

Right. Let's say L.buc, who herein shall be called "Len", refuses to pay gardener, who herein shall be called "Ben". Len refuses to pay Ben so Ben takes Len to court to claim the £180 which he claims he earned. Len's defence is he didn't do a good job and didn't finish but Ben says he couldn't...
