Have you removed the front cover to boiler to see anything obvious As the last time i had this the cable was sitting in water :shock: Does the boiler go to lockout or is it just electric it could be circulating pump?

Yes could be tap i turn off hot water and open up the tap cover and remove the inside and silicone grease it to free off easy job if your not sure call a plumber only 5min job :wink:

Most are reversible lunat said but its best to put on flow side as it makes balancing the system easier :wink: If your return pipe is cool but flow hot you may have air in your pipes. Does the bottom stay warm all the time even when first coming on? If so try turning off all rads exept...

you can run a whole system on 10mm microbore. i would do away with header tank and go for sealed system?

What the best thing to do is not to mess with fernox e.c.t. empty small tank(F.E.) and cut pipe just above T into system and you will see blockage and clear with flat-head screwdriver then fix with a 15mm ball fix join so you wont have to empty tank if it happens again :wink:

Where is your boiler as they have a frost stat built into them. if in the loft for instance
