    HEATING AN INSULATED SHED??

Hi John Many thanks for your comments. Thinking about it i must agree with you, fan heaters are great to build heat quickly but turn it off and the heats vanishes pretty quickly. I like your idea of a heater at both ends of the room, it makes sense. Like most of us i really need to...

I'd go for it jetset, make the garage comfortable and enjoy it, its a minor change that can easily be reversed if required. Don't forget the pool table! Ron :D

You hit the nail on the head! Your keeping the garage door so in a nutshell its a garage and will be sold as a garage. Lets say i went outside now and partitioned my garage in two with a stud wall, its still a garage but i've made it into a lets say temporary hobby area. Your simply...

Hi Jetset Are you removing the garage door and bricking it up? If not then its still a garage and i would just add the floor and enjoy it as a games room with insulation. Its a minor change in my opinion that can be removed in the future if required. Cheers! Ron

Garden Office Build Thread- Start to finish with pics!

Hi Primary Cause AMAZING BUILD!! Worth every penny in my opinion, simply fantastic! How warm is the office with the heating off? Does it stay pretty warm with the already fitted insulation? I'm looking at doing a build myself but feel my budget of 2 grand (LOL) is not going to be...

    SHED BOUNDARY HELP PLEASE

Hi Tony I really appreciate the conversation and help. Your absolutely right, also its common sense i guess that its to the wall. Now one last cheeky questions as you've been so helpful :) I'd like to add a canopy to one side, the side that is not close to the side boundary's. Our...

Neighbours outbuilding will block light- no known permission

How about an update as to the progress of this situation? From what i've read, if its under 15 sq/M of internal floor space and no higher than 2.5M then they can place it smack close to the boundary and it can be made of wood. It must be really annoying seeing that go up. Cheers! Ron

    SHED BOUNDARY HELP PLEASE

Hi Tony No, it was planning really. I'm 100% sure i can go ahead and i may well do so as i've checked all the other considerations in detail. My confusion was with the distance between the boundary and the shed itself or which part of the shed. Some forums say its to the wall and...

    SHED BOUNDARY HELP PLEASE

Hi Tony Many thanks for the quick reply and information. I'm tempted to put some plans together and send them in for inspection, just to be 100% sure. Some councils can differ from others, or should i say from planning officer to planning officer. If i get a letter say all is ok, then...
