Hi, I've bought a new light switch and have some basic questions. As you can see from the photo we have old style colour wiring. 1) Red goes into new switch marked L1? 2) Black with red sleeve goes into N/LOOP? 3) Earth stays as it is wired into the metal back box? Thanks

Are these things not a standard size? From the very edges the o-rings measure 16/17mm but Screwfix/Toolstation don't seem to have any specific rings that size. They are 13mm internally

I've had mine a year though and it just needed descaling. The issue is the o-rings by the looks of it. Its quite simple to take it apart and clean, obviously putting it back together is the issue :)

Does that mean I can't get any?

Just taken the front of the bell unit and it says 8v - 0.6A and I have a 6A fuse in the consumer unit. Just put the wires on the push button terminal to make the connection and it worked fine.

It was just wired to the push button bit so I just bought a replacement and was going to do the same. Just a bit weary from that bit in the instructions.

Thanks. Will it drain the whole house or just that radiator? Is there a technical term for that bit of pipe?

Is the washer just on that bit or is it on the bit attached to the radiator?
