    Ok well I'm all for following best practice. If your going to do a job... So it's to indicate the purpose of the wire? Blue is usually neutral but it's a switching wire so needs brown or black instead. I'm just curious really.

    There is a programmer on the combi boiler but it's a pain to use so we never bother, just turn the stat up and down to switch heating on and off. A programable one would be ideal. Are there any better ones than the CMT907 though?

    My honeywell thermostat has gone faulty, what is a good digital one to replace it with? I was looking at a Honeywell CMT907A1041 which seems perfect, the only thing is the reviews say the screen dies after a few years. Any others I should consider? Thanks.

    Thanks squeaky, I take it there's no way to repair it by replacing a washer or something? If not is this a suitable replacement? EDIT Just seen your reply muggles. Think we need a side entrie one? Would it be possible to add a service valve into the system aswell? We don't currently have one...

    Hi all, The toilet is taking about 12 mins to refill. I've toook the lid off to see what it's doing and there is water spraying into the air while it's refilling.
