Hi,

Could you experts advise how to wire up a CM907 please?

Old stat is a Honeywell T6360B.

Is it Brown to A, Blue to B and nothing in C?

I've tried figuring it out from the CM907 instructions but I'm electrically illiterate http://www.honeywelluk.com/Documents/Installation-Guide/pdf/1161.pdf

Thanks.

Sleeve that blue core while you're @ it.....gets my goat it really does.

Ah, that's the handywork of the boiler installer 7 years ago.

How do I sleeve it, insulation tape/heat shrink/other and why does it need doing out of interest?

With brown or black sleeving usually. Doesn't really need doing just best practise.

Ok well I'm all for following best practice. If your going to do a job...

So it's to indicate the purpose of the wire? Blue is usually neutral but it's a switching wire so needs brown or black instead. I'm just curious really.

A brown sleeve on the blue cable indicates that it's potentially 'live' core
