Hi Debs yes that serial number tells them that boiler was made in 20th week off 2008! :wink: call heateam as they are service division off Remeha!

How old is the boiler as alot of Remehas have 5 year warranty! Call heateam to find out! Also this fault can be caused by a frozen condensate pipe so check that If your weather has been cold enough! :wink:

I would replace the whole thing personally probably with a Honeywell as wiring and plumbing connections are the same! And Honeywell is alot more reliable! :wink:

He has an earlier version of the Promax ! Which does not have any lights and has 2 pcbs rather than the 1 Dc platform on the later ones! Check to see that the pump is running!

Tell BG to get the manufacturers out Heateam! That's wot they normally do anyway :wink:

On the immersion thermostat there is a reset which is just to the right of the temperature control dial! You will need a small electrical screwdriver to push it in to reset it! If the stat is the old turquoise type they are prone to tripping out! And long term would need replacing for the newer...

Keep your old boiler! Megaflo are the best with the built in expansion vessel and lifetime guarantee! :wink:

Sounds to me like it's the air has mixture that is causing the noise! Could be to do with flue routing or setting on gas valve!

To get it out of this mode hold the reset down for at least 10 secs! :wink:

We don't have laptops! We have HHT's (hand held terminals) and the customer pays before we go out so why would we need to know the prices?

Disagree on the 5x especially as gas prices are so high now! Probably twice as high! Which is bad enough! :roll:

Electric boilers are ok pretty reliable but also costly to run! Amptec being the best on the market!

1 fixed price depending on where you live and boiler! But at least you know you will get a baxi engineer who carries 90 percent of the parts for that boiler so won't need to keep coming back like BG! :lol:
