    Jerry M not sure about the question on the insulation. It's 75mm thick and it's directly onto roof felt then hardboard nailed on to it then taped gaps with foil tape. That part is just made for storage. The main room gonna use kingspan. Under the floor there has been chicken wire over the joists...

    Supply to immersion was only 2.5 so electrician is running totally new supply from meter. Cheers for all your help. :wink:

    The run from CU to end of sockets would be about 20m, say GF 3m 1st floor 3m then plus 4m along then 10m around loft say about 10m insulated.

    I've checked the fuse at the board and it's on 15amp it's on it's own. So if it 4mm or bigger that's fine to use i'm getting an electrician to do it just would have needed him earlier in the project to run fresh cable from meter.

    Difference in gas usage per year in £'s is about £30 per year so 10 yrs is £300, is the cost of the boiler that much extra? Are you "Green"? Your boiler won't be obsolete in April whatever one you buy, Manufacturers stop making parts for boilers when it's no longer profitable. Still get parts...

    No water from pump when bleeding?

    Make sure manufacturers instructions let you have a sealed system on your boiler also. Deffo don't seal it if it hasn't got a over heat stat.
