    floodlight in garden

I would imagine somebody would have to complain before they would serve any enforcement, I don't see or hear of many council officials knocking on doors shouting "OI you take your light down it's too bright" it's in the back yard too, no motorists will be going by where I plan to install.

    floodlight in garden

I guess I will phone the council then and I doubt very much most of the street have done when installing their own floodlight, so if they refuse I'll just have to tell my elderly mother (who wants it for putting her rubbish out at night) she will have to go back to B&Q and tell them the light...

internal wires and boxes on wall

would be great if I could get away with that, but the problem is the two cables beside the skirting here, which are short and go directly into the connectors on the boxes on the wall, so I don't have much cable to play with there.

internal wires and boxes on wall

can anyone please advise which kit I can purchase to make this less of a clutter and mess? so far I have perhaps thought it may be a good idea to move the main telephone socket all together, as this location is on the left soon as you walk into the livingroom. it's unsightly with first of...

    AKURA TV POOR QUALITY SOUND

I used to get this complaint a lot from people with flat screen TVs - I would suggest investing in a 5.1 surround system if you want good sound, or doing some research on your options for audio systems for yourself. the old CRT TVs gave a better sound than the more modern flat screens, it's...

    problems with signal

I'm confused, are you having problems with your Sky HD signal or your Freeview signal? if it's your sky hd signal this will be connected to a dish, not an aerial. If it's your freeview your areal is normally connected into the back of your TV - RF socket. which one is it? If you think you...

http://roxsat.com/shop/images/products/FTB6KOWHT_.jpg these are pretty handy too for making cables look tidy coming through walls, either that I'm suspecting you will be just using a normal RF Female Faceplate? http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MjcwWDI2Ng==/$(KGrHqIOKnEE4-2Gw0QLBO,fJe7o0!~~60_35.JPG
