MMM. don't think your only problem is the muck and on another point do you really want all the rubish from the system in the boiler, only way to do this is a powerflush, chemical fill and drain or mains flush and get someone to look at your diverter valve would guess as you get HW with heating...

Not really enough information buy i assume its a combi and water is passing into the system through the plate heat exchanger, maybe a boiler make, model, age etc would assist us better diagnoise your problem

Where the radiaitors replaced with the boiler was it cleaned, x400 or simlar when installed, do you have to keep topping the system up? i.e the pressure keeps falling on the display. What type of inhibitor was used?

if its connected up i.e the silver hose is in between two other silver parts not hanging lose turn the black leaver to start to fill the boiler, watch the gauge until it gets to 1 - 1.5 bar and you should be fine. Photos would help us give you better instructions
