And the hot water temp setting is turned up? Have you got no hot water at all?

Set temp to 70 - 75c, have you checked if theres pressure in the system?

Summer mode is to prevent heating coming on and allow just hot water, not all boilers have room stats. If you turn stat down you don't need summer mode.
