If you havent seen it done i would rub some patination oil over the lead it often gets missed. If you drive passed old houses and see marks on the tiles near lead flashings such as near chimney stacks its because theres no oil on it. What solar kit are you getting ?

Yep the white pipe should be 32mm Not only is your boiler condensing but oil as well which means youl get more visable plume . Its easy for us all to look at pics and take the mick mind , just form a snagging list id mension the waste issue before you go any further it might be easier to...

Yeah , but with a propper powerflush it may not of needed one. If your insurance is covering it then its not a worry to you. Some dont cover where there is sludge involved

I think adding X800 to the system for a week or so might help . Flushing the boiler out seperatley would be an idea as well . It sounds like the sludge hasnt been broken down well enough to me.

If your not sure how to connect a hose to a pipe then maybe youd be better off calling a plumber out :idea:

Check your instruction for the rf , it may need repairing . There was also a similar fault explained on here few days back regarding the diverter valve which was an easy fix should it end up being that. Try the rf stat instructions first make sure there paired up.

I dont accually know anyone thats fitted one , they do come accross as a B and Q gas fire . Its not out of the realms of posserbility that alot are getting fitted by the DIY'er. The sooner gas appliances can only be bought by GRI the better .!

Ive always brought a spark in to do the wiring but im seriously considering getting part P considering so many sparks seem to struggle with basic heating controls. I dont think it would be a bad thing to bring this into our specialist subjects and elimernate the need for sparks so much ...
