Yes, 4 wall mounted neostat thermostats each with a floor probe. Two for the engineered wood floor and two for rooms where LVT is being fitted but not fitted yet. The probes are 1m away from the wall, half way between two heating loops and in direct contact with the back surface of the wood.

Thanks guys. They are white washers ad that’s the bit that concerned me as they are not the fibre washers. Also, once they are tight they are SO easy to loosen. Just the slightest knock elsewhere loosens the fitting. I’m so disappointed with these fittings.

How do I apply the loctite 55? How much do I use? All the other joints have plastic ridgid washers. Can I be 100% confident that they will seal without using loctite 55 on them too? Thanks

I’ve got some of this stuff now as there’s still a drip on the manifold so I’m going to redo it all. How many turns should I be using? Would you be tempted to use it on all of them fittings where there aren’t rubber rings on the fitting? Thanks

Blimey what a nightmare all those joints are on the manifold. I get one to stop weeping and then another one starts. Surely they are badly designed?! Any suggestions for the best way to do it if I strip it all down and start again? I really don’t want it leaking everywhere.

So PTFE tape will do it? Just need LOTS?

I’ve got 1” straight connectors to connect my 22mm flow and return from the boiler to my UFH. I’ve tried several times fitting them to the manifold inlet but they keep dripping. I’ve used PFE tape... am I doing something wrong? Photos attached. Any help and advice would be great please. Thanks.

I couldn’t get the pipe insert to go into the allathene so I’m guessing it only goes on with a brass fitting and you leave it off when using the plasson fitting?

How does this look? All prepped up and ready to go? There was a pipe insert in the alkathene which I’m guessing I should stranger over to the plasson fitting? Any tips with fitting it? Also the photo shows it’s about 3-4mm thick alkathene.
