    Calling all Remeha experts.

It may not have been a big enough difference to trigger the fault 9. In any case boilers don't always act as they should according to the manual ! Poor circulation on most glowworm boilers gives a fault code which says NTC defective, replace ntc, check harness to ntc ! Im gonna stick with poor...

    Calling all Remeha experts.

No not always, most boilers modulation profile is based on factors the software assumes about the system ie that there is a suitable flow rate through the heat exchanger and enough heat absorption to take away the heat. If the flow rate is too low the boiler can ramp up and hit a point of no...

    Stuck in Keston hell....

thats just daft though, outdated claptrap adding anything for hot water. High recovery cylinders and priority hot water is the way to go. Add 0kw for hot water. even if you did install the system in a traditional way, chances are that either a) there will be more than 4kw available to the...

    Stuck in Keston hell....

as you know Kestons are rubbish, the new ones are no better. There are loads of boilers that use 80mm twin flue, if anyone you have had didn't know this then probably better to find someone who does, its not exactly a closely guarded secret. If you need the 55 kw output of the current...

    Boiler beyond economical repair

most of the parts for these boilers are obsolette, servowarm went out of business years ago. If it needs parts its probably time to change it. Homeserve are a bunch of useless charlatans but I don't think they have done alot wrong in this case.

Should I complain about this CH plumber? Is it safe?

do we know what boiler it is yet? im gonna guess vokera compact if not
  19. mickyg

    Which boiler?

if you have good flow and pressure than an unvented boiler might be a better option. would not have a 937 personally.

Should I complain about this CH plumber? Is it safe?

sorry mark, i cant agree, the soldering is amateur, the flue is worrying. There is absolutely no need for duct tape on a modern flue. Also you should be using flue clips which hold the flue tightly, not waste pipe clips. The flue will be wobbly within that clip, unacceptable. Phone Gas Safe...
