    Apologies, the power issue was simply the fact that the properties are on smart pp meters and weren't topped up at the time. The sockets work fine otherwise I presume. The washing machine installer could uncap the appliance waste?

    Hotpoint Superplus 7820 Dishwasher - faulty dial

    Hi every so often the dishwasher stops and I need to turn the dial very slightly to kickstart it. I have to do this about 2-3 times for it to complete. Any ideas what is causing the problem?...more importantly, any ideas how to fix?
