    illegal to work on? If your worried about a lead supply line then you should have it replaced to a MDPE one, were you hoping that the water board would just change the supply while putting a meter in? I work on them. Plenty of people do.

    Probably because you system pressure is higher than the mains pressure. You really need to lower it to 1.2 bar with the system cold.

    The pipe connecting vessel to the boiler may be blocked. check that.

    Yes. You can wire a standard y or s plan system on the combi to heat the water in the cylinder. The boiler doesn't care or know you have a cylinder!

    If the vessel isn't leaking water then you could try replacing the valve on it. Cost about £1.

    Use the filling loop to increase pressure 1-1.5 bar, should be a braided hose under boiler somewhere with a small tap on it. Check the boiler instructions too.

    Issue 1: Check the wires behind the roomstat. 1 should be permenant live, 1 will be nuetral and the other will be live when the stat is calling ie: It has clicked on. Issue 2. Fit a cylinder stat! Issue 3. Try turning the pump up to max. Ultimate solution would be to fit new controls...

    I use a plastic bag filled with some balls of newspaper in lieu of a 110mm plug.

    Heat line boiler gas failure

    Sounds like you need to purge air from the gas pipe. You can do this yourself but if you don't/can't do a tightness test then you might leave yourself with a leak and bad things can happen then!

    Unvented Cylinder Recommendation.

    Looking for a 120-150L unvented DIRECT cylinder for a customer. Before i just go buy a Megaflow is there anything else i should look at? I probably would prefer one that didn't have the internal bubble/baffle expansion, which i know can cause problems. Yes i have a G3 ticket :)

    How did you empty the system before fitting the new radiators? Through the PRV perhaps?
