Vertical Designer rad on 8mm microbore?

I like danfoss TRVs. Can't comment on the other ones you mention. The RAS-D variant comes in white/chrome and chrome. http://www.heatandplumb.com/acatalog/Ras-D2_Revolver_Thermostatic_Radiator_Valves.html

Over sizing the radiator will work fine also, a trv will take care of it. Rad sizing is only a guide anyway.

I would also just add a pump onto the DHW circuit. I can't make sense of your new pipe work either.

Air gathering in bathroom towel rail

Not sure why air is getting in, in the first place but an automatic air vent could be installed on the bathroom radiator to get rid of the air. Not fixing the problem but treating the symptoms. http://www.heatandplumb.com/acatalog/copy_of_Aladdin_Autovent__Vertical_Radiators_.html

    Help fitting closed coupled toilet

I doubt you will get a CC pan in there without moving the branch to the stack back to the wall, almost to the skirting board. Also modern cisterns have an internal overflow so no need to drill one to an outside wall.

Problem with Glow-worm Ultracom 38Cxi, possibly....

Make sure the automatic air valve in the boiler is open (check the instructions), to bleed them pump unscrew the big silver screw in the middle until some water comes out. Do this when boiler is cold.

    HW cylinder vent pipe

Its a bit amateurish to use 2 elbows but it does work. Buy yourself a pipe bending spring (cheap) if you don't have a set of benders already.
