    Anyone know how much...

5-9K depending on area, Sizes etc. Thats just labour and essential bits and bobs. My best guess anyway. I would rather have a plumber remove the tanks and covert bathroom to mains water than corgi guy. Get a few quotes for each trade.

    Cold Radiators

If they are new-ish valve they are likely to be these: RAS-C http://www.plumbingsupplyservices.co.uk/acatalog/trv.html If so unscrew the grey plastic bit at the bottom and the head will come off with a tug. [/img]

    Conflicting advice from corgi installers

Any combi will keep your radiators hot all day with no problems, its the hot water supply that needs careful thinking. No combi will be able to supply 2 mixer showers and a tap at the same time. Period! I like the Danfoss RAS-D more than Honeywell or Drayton.

Measure the current flow rate and pressure through the single 25mm MDPE pipe, then report back. 8)

EXPANSION VESSEL SIZING - TO BE PRECISE?

Over sizing will have no ill effects. 12L should be fine in your case tbh.

    tap seat recutting

What Bahco said, tap re-setter is wasted space in your tool box.

EXPANSION VESSEL SIZING - TO BE PRECISE?

The PRV (pressure release valve) will stop anything dangerous happening. If you have the space an 18l vessel is a good buy too, this would allow adding more rads or bigger ones without any problems.

EXPANSION VESSEL SIZING - TO BE PRECISE?

Undersized ones are not dangerous they just won't do the job. For the average domestic system a 12l one does the job.

    Central Heating

Probably a sticking/ wired wrong motorized valve.

    10mm to 15mm Pipe

You will probably need to get the chrome off the ends of the pipe where you want to attach the compression fittings, sometimes the olives won't fit and it can be hard to get a good seal.

    Strange Radiator Problem

Close the valves and unscrew them from the rad, then open them with a bucket under them to see what comes out. Is the system on microbore?

    New toilet fitted but..

Is the branch plastic? If so make sure that the seals have not been fouled, you can apply some silicone grease to help make seat properly.

    primatic cylinder

Well of course its possible but its not a very good idea for the most. Only time i can see it working is if it was a very long run between the boiler and the cylinder. I have seen plenty of 22mm gravity systems working fine. Is your cylinder from the 70's nello?

    primatic cylinder

You can plug it whatever way you like as long as it doesn't leak. It will be gravity as you cannot pump on a primatic cylinder.

    primatic cylinder

Just as they go into the cylinder would be my preference.

    primatic cylinder

You could plug the primary flow and returns and just use the immersion heater.

easy way of replacing broken lockshield valve

It would be better to drain it down tbh. Even if you just remove enough water to empty that radiator. 1.5 bar of pressure in a combi system which will make a mess of your house if you opened it without letting the pressure off a bit. Its possible to change a valve "live" if its on a open...

    primatic cylinder

Do you have and immersion heater?
