    Combining lighting circuits

Would it be OK for me to feed two existing lighting circuits from one 6amp RCBO? There is a total of 6 rooms only ( ordinary single lamps ). At the moment one circuit suplies 4 rooms and the other only 2. Both circuits on same floor level I do understand the part P implications ........

    pop up waste stuck

If you have a shower mat ( the ones with the suction cups underneath ) you can attach one of the suction cups to the waste and pull it upwards at the same time as operating the release. I have a Bathstore pop up in the bath that sometimes needs this treatment, especially if the bath has been...

Britony combi help with identifying part

Hello all. I need to identify a part that is broken in my boiler. It is part of the water flow restrictor and is a small white plastic part that is spring loaded and in normal operation seals up the hole in the flow regulator. When hot water is called the water flow lifts this part from its seat...

How much of a risk is it not earthing a ceiling light?

Why 4mm ? The normal cpc for a lighting circuit is only 1mm ??? Could anyone explain EXACTLY what the diffrence is between an "ordinary" fitting and a "double insulated" fitting? The blurb just mentions "extra insulation" .... Could this not be retro fitted?

    Connecting earth rods

What if I where to drive in ,lets say 10 rods all within inches of one another. Would the impedence then be very much higher than a single rod? or would it be the equivalent of a thicker single rod?
  19. Gees

    Connecting earth rods

What it says is the impedence of two closely spaced rods would be higher that two widely spaced rods, NOT more than a single rod.
