Had another go today. Got a fire lighter in, lit up and got it going but still fizzled out even though I tried to keep the fire going with some tiny strips of wood and paper. I went and bought an axe.

Duly bought some drill bits for this. Drilled 1” holes. Whatever I try to use as starter for the fire snuffs out :eek: I’ll try again with larger holes.
