    it seems nobody has mentioned the most obvious option, take up the floor and replace with 25mm ply.

    pci do a good kit, you can get it for around £50 but if you want the bal one it is also available for around the same price, topps are expensive on some items, but they will give you a discount if you ask. best thing is just ring round your local area

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBOHYRG0KG4 there is also available a mixer similar to a cement mixer from rubi, so if you were going to be doing a lot of grouting youd save a lot of time, it also mixes adhesive too.

    no reason at all, but bear in mind the extra cost, a 20kg grout bag is £9 ish, depending where you go, for the same amount in silicone i would guess at £100 ish, plus the fact that you have to make sure its 300% clean and that you have to then leave the room to cure, and if you get it wrong even...

    hiya cj, what size is your kitchen? 150 / 160 meters? :lol: the problen with SOME grouts is that they are very temprametal, meaning if you make up a batch and thendo another, i.e. next day to finish it COULD look slightly different? it may work fine no probs, but id bite the bullet...
