Paslode 350 - Sparking back to front

I'd suggest get one of the service kits, follow the instructions and give it a REALLY good clean and service. Replace the rubber seals ect. and apply some more fluid to inside.

    Air conditioning in marakesh hotel

It is quite a leveller when you do travel to other countries less well off than our own, to see how resourceful and optimistic they are. Then return to the UK. Quite sobering! Do you use a hardtail/full sus or road bike on your trip?

    Air conditioning in marakesh hotel

Your right. You do get used to the heat. I do have one exception. 7 years ago I was in northern Pakistan (baltistan) and stopped in the middle of nowhere. On my watch (off my wrist) I noted 48 degs, we did have a ceiling fan... That didn't work.... Drench the sheet in water, opened the...

    Air conditioning in marakesh hotel

Norcon, So your suggesting perhaps a centrally based system with attributes of scrubbers ect relating to efficiency. Correct, nothing can be done... Just wandering aloud how/what these systems are :-) A beer will help.

    Air conditioning in marakesh hotel

Sorry, hit the wrong button and doing this via a iPhone. Aircon had been on for over 11 hours. Whilst I can see a little access area, I've not started poking about. Any thoughts on the set up in hotels? Yes, I have commented to reception who have never had a complaint (tripadvisor...

    Air conditioning in marakesh hotel

I hope this is the correct forum area as I did not see one dedicated to aircon or cooling. Yes, I am holiday... But this one is bugging me. Currently staying in a modern novotel hotel in marakesh, morocco. The room (very nice too) has air con vents built into a 'prefab' style...

    Oops... It's smoking.

Asked by a neighbour 3 doors down from me to renew their Fenial. It was rotted and in a pretty poor state. I set up my scaffold tower, tools up to the top. The world is fine. It's also lovely and warm - the sun is out. Cut all the rot out, renewed everything. Prior to painting I thought I...

    Window without a lintel

Yes, that should have a lintel... I don't think you will be able to get an "off the shelf" one as you need (or a structural engineer) to understand the load coming down through the roof... That is very naughty... Surprised no cracks really, unless the beam goes through to the outer skin -...

Party Wall Advice - Surveyor Refusing to Act

Well, I suppose you can satisfy yourself by making a hell of a lot of noise ! I assure you, it really does make yourself feel better - perhaps not £1,000 better - but it does help ! I know, it's a waste of money ! Can't help any more !

    Stairs construction property 1850's

ladylola, Thank you very much for your reply. The good thing is that your response indicates I can use my Stair Jig and my power tools to form the stringers and then normal cutting for risers and goings with a bull nose to the going. The LBO seems to want them rounded off. Which, from 1890's...

Party Wall Advice - Surveyor Refusing to Act

If it looks like a PWA might be needed and I'm the one doing the work. I offer the person it is likely to effect £xxx worth of work/man power to do whatever they might want doing on their house. I would rather do that than give it to a surveyor. I've used one ONCE and never again... Just go take...
