oh.. ha ha... do you live near the sea? or a river? I seem to remember you have difficulties with one of your arms..? but if you can... try fishing... it is therapeutic, even when you dont catch anything.

thanks.. its funny how kids can highlight so many things that I have known once but then forgotten. Tree types is another example. I remember collecting leaves from trees at school and identifying what type it came from... get stuck now when my boys bring leaves back to do the same...

we took rods on holiday with us and I had a go in the sea, off harbour walls. I had a 'spinner' for ease but didnt catch a thing!!! not sure if it was just bad luck, bad technique or what.. There were other locals who had caught fish. Dont know if this is something where practice...

sorry for not replying before... but many thanks. Yes, we do have lots of nettles and thistles by the river too but we wont spray these. I guess it will just be chopping these down. do you know what the general rule is with regrds to water... ie, how many yards etc away from river that it is...

hub changed it with new router to webmail. when the computer starts up we have five different family users come up. sorry... when I said internet profile... I meant that it shows my husbands name and shows up his yahoo amail account. (best I can descibe)

joe, re sailing in the sea... I agree it could be irrisponsible and yes I did once criticise people going up mountains ill equipped and without taking heed of weather conditions etc etc... however, we are inexperienced and as such have enquired for our holidays, safe stretches of coast...
